Mission

Annihilate the Landfill. Rescue the Remarkable.

D’Beetle isn’t just a shop—it’s a second chance revolution, run by Cambridge locals Calla and Ryan who refused to stand by while perfectly good furniture met its doom on city sidewalks and at estate sales. Every item we offer—from chesterfield sofas saved from the curb, to hand-finished wood dressers rescued at the final moments of an auction—was headed for the trash heap until we intervened.

Where We Source:

  • Estate sales and auction leftovers, saved before the dump truck

  • Street finds and local pickups, rescued from rain, snow, and certain destruction

  • Community donations, channeling neighborly care into new beginnings

Our Process:

  • Each piece is hand-cleaned, sometimes restored with the help of local craftspeople, always chosen for resilience and appeal

  • We pick a mix for every taste—whether mid-century cool, classic charm, or something wild, there’s a D’Beetle find for you

  • Our inventory is never landfill-bound—each item’s story continues with you

Why We Started:
Spring and summer revealed just how much usable, quality furniture Cambridge was losing to the elements. After too many heart-breaking rescues, Calla and Ryan turned their frustration into action—rescuing, restoring, and rehoming as both a business and a mission.

Our Values:

  • Built to last: We champion craftsmanship and keep great pieces in circulation for lifetimes

  • Full transparency: No greenwashing, no fake deals—just big impact at fair prices

  • Personal touch: Founders handle every step, from pickup to sale

Join the Movement:
Shop, donate, or share our story—every action helps reduce landfill waste and spread the message that secondhand is the new smart.

Customer Impact:
Our reviews fuel us; shoppers say D’Beetle is "the missing link," "salvation in a world of disposal," and "truly unique treasures." Every purchase makes a real difference—both for the earth and for our community.

What makes us different?
We go full throttle for the planet: No compromises, no distractions, just the best furniture and the boldest mission in Cambridge.
