Annihilate the landfill, rescue a conversation piece that refuses to blend in

Someone looked at a perfectly respectable 1920s parlor table and said 'hold my paintbrush.' The result? A glorious collision of serious craftsmanship and carnival spirit. That top is the real deal — bookmatched walnut veneer in a four-way chevron pattern, glossy and gorgeous. Below it, a Depression-era base got the full folk art treatment: hunter green crackle finish, coral and gold striping on reeded legs, cast brass cartouche medallion. It's a lot. It works. The crackle paint shows honest wear, and that walnut top has minor surface scratches but photographs like a dream.

The D'Beetle Difference

• Bookmatched Walnut Veneer Top: Four-way chevron pattern in figured walnut with shaped serpentine edge. High-gloss finish with minor surface wear.

• Hand-Painted Folk Art Base: Intentional crackle finish in deep green with coral, gold, purple, and sage accents on turned reeded legs. Original cast brass decorative medallion on apron.

• Two-Tier Parlor Form: Lower shaped shelf provides display or storage space. Solid construction with turned legs and ball feet. Console height makes it ideal for entryway or behind a sofa.
