1920s Quartersawn Oak Jacobean Revival Sideboard with Beveled Mirror & Cane Pane
Annihilate the landfill, serve dinner with a side of century-old craftsmanship
This is the real deal — a proper 1920s Jacobean Revival sideboard in quartersawn oak, the good stuff with that tiger-stripe medullary ray figure that furniture nerds lose sleep over. Original beveled mirror, intact cane panels flanking the gallery, and those signature turned legs with stretcher base. Four drawers, two side cabinets, one full-width bottom drawer. Built when American furniture makers still gave a damn. Some expected surface wear and minor finish loss on top — it's had a century of Thanksgiving platters, and it shows.
The D'Beetle Difference
•This is how oak is supposed to look when cut by someone who understood the material.
• Original Hardware Throughout
• Intact Cane Gallery Panels: Both decorative cane inserts flanking the arched mirror are original and undamaged — a minor miracle after 100 years. Mirror shows no foxing or silvering loss.
