Annihilate the landfill, rescue a workhorse side table that's seen some life

This is a solid oak campaign-style end table from the 1970s, and we're not going to pretend it hasn't lived. The bones are excellent—beautiful cathedral grain on the drawer front, original brass bail pull with keyhole escutcheon, brass trim framing the drawer, and sturdy Parsons-style legs. But that top? It's taken some hits. Water rings, surface scratches, and a few dark spots tell the story. Nothing a weekend refinisher couldn't handle, and the drawer still glides like it should. However, it does have that “Founders” patch.
