Mid-Century Maple Colonial Revival Bookcase with Spindle Gallery Rail

$145.00

Annihilate the landfill, adopt a bookcase that outlasted its original owner's reading list

This is the kind of solid maple bookcase that anchored a thousand New England studies — Colonial Revival styling from the 1950s-60s, built when manufacturers still used real wood and actual joinery. Four generous shelves with that distinctive scalloped gallery back and turned spindle rail detail above the bottom shelf. The warm honey maple finish shows its decades honestly: some surface wear and minor scratches on the lower shelf, but the bones are excellent. Sturdy, functional, ready for another fifty years of hardcovers.

The D'Beetle Difference

• Solid Maple Construction Throughout: Real hardwood shelves and sides, not veneer over particleboard. Tongue-and-groove plank back panel adds rigidity and authentic period character.

• Turned Spindle Gallery Detail: Five turned maple spindles create a plate rail effect above the bottom shelf — perfect for displaying ceramics or keeping paperbacks from tumbling.

• Generous Display Dimensions:
