Standard Sewing Machine Co. Treadle Machine in Quarter-Sawn Oak Cabinet c.1900
Annihilate the landfill, because your great-grandmother's workhorse deserves another century of stitches
Here's a genuine Standard Sewing Machine Company treadle machine in its original quarter-sawn oak cabinet — that tiger stripe figure is the real deal, not veneer. The gold japanning and floral decals on the cast iron head have held up remarkably well for 120+ years. Cabinet shows honest wear: edge chips, finish loss on the left side, and the usual dings from a lifetime of actual use. Four accessory drawers with original pressed-brass pulls. Treadle and wheel mechanism intact. Sold as-is for restoration or as a spectacular conversation piece.
The D'Beetle Difference
