Anees Custom Furniture Shagreen & Leather Geometric Side Tables — Matched Pair

Annihilate the landfill, rescue a pair of sculptural Chicago-made stunners from obscurity

These are the real deal: a matched pair of geometric side tables from Anees Custom Furniture, the Chicago atelier known for museum-quality materials and Art Deco revivals. Wrapped in genuine blush shagreen (yes, actual ray skin) with contrasting charcoal leather panels and dark wood tops. The angular, tapered form catches light beautifully. Condition is strong — minor surface dust visible on felt bottoms, shagreen intact with no lifting or damage. These retail north of $3K each new.

The D'Beetle Difference • Genuine Shagreen, Not Faux: Real stingray skin with that distinctive pebbled texture and subtle sheen. Expertly applied with clean seams at the geometric angles.

• Signed Chicago Craftsmanship: Metal maker's tag on base reads 'Anees Custom Furniture, Chicago, Illinois, Est. 1998.' These are documented pieces from a respected studio.

• Sculptural Asymmetric Form: Triangular footprint measures approximately 12" across. The faceted design creates visual interest from every angle — works as end tables or standalone art objects.
