This is the real deal — a hand-painted Chinese Export Canton platter that likely sailed into Boston Harbor sometime in the mid-1800s. Classic cobalt landscape with pagodas, mountains, sailboat, and the signature three-arch bridge. The crosshatch diaper border and canted corners are textbook Canton. She's seen some dinner parties: minor rim chips, surface scratching, and honest age-related wear to the unglazed foot. Still holds court beautifully on a wall or table.
