Henkle Harris Chippendale-Style Mahogany Pembroke Drop-Leaf Table with Brass Bail Hardware
Annihilate the landfill, one beautifully grained side table at a time
This is the kind of Pembroke table that made 18th-century English drawing rooms work—compact when you need it slim, generous when company arrives. Solid mahogany throughout with that gorgeous cathedral grain on the top panels and a warm, well-developed patina. Two dovetailed drawers with original-style brass bail pulls, chamfered Marlborough legs, and a proper X-stretcher base. Some light surface scratches consistent with actual use—nothing that diminishes the glow. Mid-20th century reproduction quality, built to last another century.
The D'Beetle Difference
• Genuine Mahogany, Figured Grain: Solid mahogany construction with stunning swirl figure on the center panel. That deep reddish-brown tone comes from decades of proper care, not stain.
• Clever Cambridge-Apartment Footprint: Measures approximately 28" wide with leaves up, collapses to just 12" for tight spots. Height appears standard at ~27". Perfect bedside, sofa-side, or entryway piece.
• Traditional Joinery Details: Mortise-and-tenon leg construction, X-stretcher for stability, and proper rule joints on the drop leaves. Bracket supports swing smoothly. Hardware is quality brass with nice age.
