Annihilate the landfill, bring back the elegance of Nordic touring without the plastic

These Eggen wooden cross-country skis are the real deal — Norwegian-made touring skis from the golden age of Nordic craftsmanship, likely 1960s-70s. Solid hickory or birch laminate construction with that gorgeous honey-amber finish and the distinctive Eggen mountain logo at the tips. Original cable bindings still attached and functional. The wood shows honest wear — surface scratches, finish wear on the bases, some edge nicks — but no cracks, delamination, or warping. Perfect for the ski cabin wall or the purist who wants to tour like it's 1972.

The D'Beetle Difference • Genuine Norwegian Heritage: Eggen was a respected Norwegian ski maker. That blue-and-cream mountain peak logo on the tips is their signature mark — this is authentic Scandinavian craftsmanship, not a department store imitation.

• Solid Wood Laminate Construction: Approximately 200cm length (visible tape measure confirms). Multi-layer wood laminate with traditional center groove. These were built to flex and glide, not crack in the garage.

• Original Period Hardware: Cable bindings with red heel plates still intact. The metalwork shows patina but no rust-through. Usable for the adventurous, display-ready for everyone else.
