Hellman-Chang Z-Frame Side Table No. 4409 — Signed Brooklyn Studio Piece

Annihilate the landfill, adopt a sculpture that holds your coffee

This is the real deal: a numbered, signed Hellman-Chang Z-frame side table straight from their Brooklyn workshop. The cantilevered design is pure contemporary studio furniture — solid hardwood in a deep espresso finish, with that signature diagonal support that makes you do a double-take. Some surface scratching on the top from honest use, but structurally perfect. Serial #4409, both makers' signatures on the brass plate. Cambridge, meet your next conversation piece.

The D'Beetle Difference

• Signed and Numbered Studio Piece: Brass maker's plate with serial #4409 and original signatures from founders Dan Hellman and Eric Chang. Made in Brooklyn — provenance you can verify.

• Sculptural Cantilever Engineering: The Z-frame design defies expectations — single diagonal support connects two floating planes. Solid hardwood construction throughout, not veneer.

• Compact Contemporary Footprint: Approximately 20"W x 16"D x 22"H. Lower shelf adds utility without visual bulk. Deep espresso finish works with everything from mid-century to minimalist.
